Stephen Prince - Director/Chief Executive

Stephen is a member of Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy and has worked in the public sector for over 30 years. After leaving the National Audit Office in 1989, he worked for Capita, before helping to set up and direct Psec, developing the company in 5 years to a £10 million turnover, employing 400 staff. Subsequent directorships at top 10 accounting firm Baker Tilly and health consultants Newchurch were followed by the establishment of Public Sector Consultants in January 2000. In just 4 profitable years Stephen led the Company from zero to £6m turnover, gaining Sunday-Times-Virgin-Atlantic Fast-Track recognition in 2005. Stephen’s key skills are in developing new areas of service delivery, identifying and motivating people to provide quality services and, understanding what clients needs really are. Using these and his knowledge of successful business management has ensured continued growth for the Company, to £8million + fees in 2009.
