Public Sector Consultants supported the Strategy and Market Management Directorate during my months as Director. The approach was one of flexibility and support from the onset and the team of people who worked for me had a range of skills and knowledge having worked at very senior roles both in and outside the NHS. We agreed from the commencement of their roles that their skills would be used to support and develop the permanent staff as part of a learning organisation approach and during transition to a permanent Director.
