Peter is a CIMA qualified financial manager. He has specialised in financial support for the Building Schools for the Future programme and fixed asset capital accounting, in both areas for two local authorities. Prior to joining Public Sector Consultants he provided major procurement support for three PFI schemes and produced the consolidated accounts and related Government returns and indicators under the Prudential Code for Newcastle City Council. Previously Peter specialised in the defence, utilities, heavy engineering and chemicals industries, drawing upon six years as a management consultant with Ernst & Young and, more recently, twelve years as chief financial officer for major subsidiaries of three UK groups, particularly in financial planning and control and systems development.
