Geraldine is an experienced and competent financial manager with thirty years experience in the public sector. A specialist in local authority capital accounting and fully conversant with transition to IFRS. She has worked within various services of local government including Corporate Accounting; skilled in accounts closure, producing the statement of accounts, WGA and preparing budgets. Also experienced in Housing (Capital & HRA) and Children’s Services, both from a social services perspective and education. She is versatile and flexible with excellent team building skills and an ability to motivate others to work to deadlines. She leads by example, self-motivated, still keen to learn and develop further to improve career prospects and ensures knowledge is current and relevant.
