St James’s Park, home of Newcastle United was the location for this years CIPFA North East Annual Branch meeting, a venue familiar with Public Sector Consultants having recently hosted a successful recruitment event there.

A champagne reception sponsored by Public Sector Consultants was held prior to the gala dinner to award 22 newly qualified students their certificates, presented by CIPFA President Caroline Mawhood. Delegates were treated an after dinner speech by non other than ex-england international footballer Jack Charlton, pictured above with our Assistant Chief Executives David Elcock & Chris Tidswell.
