LGC Awards 2009

The best in all areas of local government in the UK were recognised with a coveted LGC Award at this year’s gala dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, on March 25, 2009.

The Awards proved to be a fantastic night with John Healey, Minister of State for Local Government, encouraging the crowd to recognise what they had achieved last year in the tough climate and to take the innovation forward in to 2010. Comedian Dara O’Briain hosted the evening and presented the awards.

As always the finance award was sponsored by Public Sector Consultants. Pictured below are winners Wandsworth Council presented with their award by our Chief Executive Stephen Prince.
