Eleanor Kelly (Chairman) & Stephen Prince (Chief Executive) pick up the award.

Public Sector Consultants was placed 52nd in the 2005 Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 league table, being one of the country’s fastest growing companies. Last month Eleanor Kelly (Chairman) & Stephen Prince (Chief Executive) joined the other companies in the table, at Richard Branson’s home in Oxfordshire, to receive their award and to celebrate their success. Richard described attendees as a great testament to the strength of British entrepreneurs. Chancellor Gordon Brown made the opening address, thanking those present for contributing significantly to the country’s economic growth.

Public Sector Consultants is the leading supplier of professional support to local government finance departments in Great Britain. Turnover in 2005/06 reached £6.4m and in all six years of activity the Company has been profitable. The Company's ethos is based on a number of key values; one of these is dedication to and membership of the public sector family. It is a value that makes Public Sector Consultants so different from its competitors. In addition, unlike its rivals, the Company employs many of its consultants, and together with the Chesterfield based support staff the Company employs 62 people. "Through the use of quality resources and our background of financial stability we have achieved much in a very short time. It is excellent that we have gained national recognition through the award and, it is a tribute to our staff's efforts" says Stephen.

"If we can extend our services in the benefits & revenues and the health markets to match those in local government accounting, we will have a very strong base for both the medium and long term" Stephen added.
